Our Mission
Foss Protection is dedicated to providing the most practical and effective tactical training for the Military, Police, and law abiding civilians. We will always stand for the core American principles of liberty, private property rights and our God given right to effective self defense. We will defend the United States constitution and the bill of rights, most importantly of which is the right to bear arms. We take seriously, our responsibility to our students in ensuring that we not only impart upon them a higher level of tactical skill and proficiency, but that we help to enhance and develop their character so they will represent the tactical community with safety and professionalism.
The founder, Tristan Foster, is a former infantry Marine who was a member of an elite Presidential Security team for the Bush/Cheney Administration as well as a martial arts instructor in the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program. He is an expert with small-arms weapons. Currently, he is a state sponsored Firearms Instructor and international level tactical instructor for defensive tactics, arrest and control, less-lethal, and firearms instruction.
Foss Protection has worked with law enforcement agencies across the world to include the Philippine National Police and the Police Training Institute in Qatar. We have developed and implement into our training, methods and tactics that have stood the test of time and are considered the standard in Law Enforcement agencies throughout the United States.
Foss Protection has conducted operations in the middle east on behalf of third party organizations. It is important that we embolden and empower U.S. allies overseas and we are honored to have had the privilege to conduct tactical training for members of the Special Forces Community within the Middle East.
Here in the United States Foss Protection caters to a wide variety of clients. We conduct firearms certifications on behalf of the Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission as independent instructors. We have conducted firearms instruction, defensive tactics, arrest and control, and less lethal training for a number of security companies throughout Washington State.
Foss Protection also books private instruction for individuals for an array of different weapons and tactics.
